I opened a one-year, meager 3% CD account. When the maturity date arrived, I withdrew the cash the Hispanic woman had told me would be charged $10.00 for writing a check. I backed away. These two Hispanic women are insatiably hungry. It is too cheap to offer a certificate of deposit with a modest 3% interest and have to remove $10.00 from the interest.
