I spent a decent amount of money on gifts, only to be told at the register that they couldn’t wrap them because they “didn’t have any tape.” The staff member seemed completely stressed and unprepared — not what you’d expect on a busy Saturday. Working in retail, especially during peak times, means being prepared. What made it worse is that I could clearly see plenty of wrapping paper and tape behind the counter, so it felt like an excuse. Very disappointing, especially when you’re trying to make a thoughtful purchase.
I had bought a few pairs of earrings from these guys a few weeks back. They were cute, well priced and the owner claimed they were nickel free - so that I wouldn't get an allergic reaction. I told him I usually wear gold because silver and other jewellery can cause an infection. He told me he had others like me too come in and say the same thing - and that it wouldn't happen to me. Small and cute store; however I noticed the owner was eager to sell products they didn't really have a lot of information about and further noticed that when another customer was trying to return something they were VERY condescending; refusing to help especially when their products caused a health concern. It was awful to watch and see someone else led on to then be told to leave. I wouldn't want to do business with these types of people.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Be very careful what you buy here as the owner will not look after you for any issues that relate to their products! We had bought some jewellery which the owner claimed is “allergy free” and because my wife was there and said she only wears gold, they told her not to worry it is the same - you can’t get sick.
