Very Poor service regarding 401ks – Polycomp sent me a letter over two months ago telling me I have to either take a distribution check form my 401k plan or roll it to an IRA from my past employer.
SO, I did as they asked and created an IRA to roll this over. I filled out their paperwork and as of today (over two months later) I am still being told "We will process distributions as soon as we complete all needed research in regards to vesting"
Had I been the person to originate this transaction (such as I called them to start the roll over process) I could totally understand this, but the fact the wrote ME and TOLD ME I HAD TO MOVE my funds is what pisses me off.
Lastly, neither my old company nor the financial services group where my funds are currently held can do ANYTHING about this. I have called both trying to go Around Polycomp but unfortunately, I have been told by both there is nothing I can do.
