I had a very disappointing experience. After switching to a new accountant, we discovered that my taxes for the past two years had been filed as an S-corporation, even though I was never properly established as one and I have email proof that this CPA told me I was. When my new CPA attempted to file, the returns were rejected. After contacting the IRS directly, I was informed that no S-corp election had ever been made under my business.
