Horrible Store Where do I even start.... The service is unfriendly and rude, half the time you can't even communicate with them. The store was filthy and I felt discussed purchasing the food. Every time i have bought meat or pastry they ended up being spoiled or old. This store is defiantly not worth coming to and a waste of your money. Whenever I go here I feel as if its a lottery whether or not I will get something good or not. Sometimes they even sell food that's past its expiration date!!

Rotten Meat Make sure you check and smell your meat before you cook it and, as a parent, be the first one who try the cold cut before you give it to your kids. When I return the rotten meat I receive no apologises and they were very rude. It already happened three times so I am not going to shop any more in this market.

word to the wise Beautiful market though it may be- standard critical health violations are the norm. Be careful and aware of what you purchase and when. The buisest times are the most safe. otherwise you may be sold product that the FDA,USDA, and the MI Dept. of Health would deem as unsellable. Mulitple failing inspections (criticals) are available for public viewing on MI food inspection site. This establishment certainly does keep with the eastern european traditition of flagrant disregard of basic American Food Safety St... read more

Great Polish food Here is a very nice Polish Market that carries all your favorite Polish foods. They have fresh meats, luncheon meats, and Polish Pastries. There are canned goods, candies, cookies and more from Poland (a lot have names and directions written in Polish). They also have a counter where the food is already prepared and you can buy it by the pound. Great for lunches or dinners without the fuss of making them. And they are so delicious! My favorite is the cheese pierogi. A lot of the sales clerks speak Polish so... read more

Terrible Overall Experience The grocery section was fairly large but most of the products I wanted were expired. The deli counter was not only unable to answer any questions they were also incredibly rude. When I tried some of the hams, I found out that nearly half were old. The worst part of my visit came at the meat section. When I asked the girl working there a question, which she unsurprisingly didn't know the answer to, she quickly called the butcher for assistance and all he managed to do was insult me and be rude to m... read more

BEst Kielbasa THis place is the most fun to shop. I'm a Polish boy all around and I love to shop at the Polish Market. They make the best home made kielbasa and pierogis. My wife has me stop in on my way home from work for some of their fresh made pastries. I am always a little uncomfortable going in there cause everyone speaks Polish and I don't, but I do it all the time for the kielbasa!

Great Polish food & Pastries The Polish Market has fresh meats and luncheon meats and cheeses. They also have food that is already prepared that they sell by the pound. You can get home cooked Polish meals like kielbasa and sourkraut, pierogi and stuffed cabbage. Prices are very reasonable. They also carry fresh breads, pastries and cookies. There are shelves of items brought in from Poland. It is a treat just to walk around and look at the labels on the items. PROS: Good home style Polish cooking or make your own. CONS: Som... read more

Polish Market is well worth a trip I was at a party recently and my uncle Jim told me about this place. I live in Lansing, MI which is the least ethnically diverse place in Michigan, hence the worst place to find any ethnic foods. I usually take little trips to Detroit on "Kowalski" runs, so with the recommendation of my uncle I tried the Polish Market in Troy. The Polish Market was close to 100 miles away and well worth the trip. Upon entering the store, I thought I was in heaven! Clean floors, bright lighting and a store f... read more
