THIS REVIEW APPLIES TO ONE SPECIFIC EMPLOYEE. We had our POD picked up from the house we were selling and CORY came out from the Jacksonville FL storage facility. He was one of the nicest, most careful and helpful people we have ever met. He even shared some moving tips for a few items we were putting into self-storage. Cory needs to be recognized for his exemplary work.
Do not use this company. Zero scheduling flexibility and a clear capacity issue on pick ups. If I need to get a new POD dropped off they can be here in 2 days however to get it picked up is weeks out. Will only pick up one day a week and they are booked weeks out. I close on my house on 6/30 and all PODs must be gone. They are telling me July 8th is the first day they can come out and I tried to give them a 3 week notice. Slow
The only great thing was the drivers! Customer service hands were tied to help moving schedule around. When moving it’s tricky when closings don’t go according to plan, because the schedule a week out. Called customer service and Pods was unable to help and tried forcing us to store and that was going to cost close to 1k more. I was able to reach out to Pack Rat. Not only was it completely online their schedule was open for the next day for $50 dollars more. 2 16ft units cost me less than the one from Pods…. RUN TO PACK RAT!... read more
These folks definitely have it together as far as communication and great service. The POD was in good condition, all drivers communicated very well for ETA and They take the time to help you better understand the process. It was great, not having to rush to move in a weekend using a box truck. I was able to efficiently pack my belongings strap them in as we loaded them into the pod, which made the moving process a lot less stressful. Thank you to the Jacksonville pod team. You are great!
