We have used PODS a few times for moving and, for me, it is the only way to go. I can take all the time I need to pack things in the order I need them to go and can Tetris the heck out of the cubes. The PODS were picked up in Washington on time with plenty of advance and on-going notice. They were delivered damage and incident-free to Mississippi on the date I requested.
