Our move went very smoothly. I received calls three hours prior to each arrival, which helped me prepare the necessary parking space in advance. The driver arrived exactly on the scheduled day and time. The storage unit was clean and in great condition, with a door that opened easily. All of our belongings arrived safely without any damage. This was my first time using PODS, and it was a positive experience overall. Thank you for the excellent service and delivery.
The individuals who do the actual work for PODS are courteous and professional. HOWEVER, in both instances where PODS was meant to pick up their container, they could not due to "staffing issues", and did not notify me until end-of-day on the day they were meant to pick up the container. This actually delayed my move by 4 days, as they gave their drivers the 4th of July weekend off (which is good). When I filed a complaint, they claimed that the company policy was that the dates are "~estimates~", rather than scheduled times... read more
Worst experience moving with these people. Pods were scheduled to be delivered & picked up to be delivered to our new house in one day, then suddenly on the day of they can’t move both after reserving them. So one of our pods had to stay at our old rental for close to a month & we were charged by our landlord because the pod was still on the property for so long. Pods offered no solution. I had a horrible experience with PODS. I scheduled my delivery for July 12th—a date I had booked all the way back in February. A few hours before it was supposed to arrive, I got a call saying it was delayed due to "unforeseen circumstances" and rescheduled for July 16th. Then, on the morning of the 16th, I got another email saying it was delayed again—this time to July 18th—with no explanation.
