Moving is stressful — everyone feels vulnerable trusting all their valuable objects to one company. Soooo… PART II: Receiving my shipments. Upon arrival in my new city, I accepted two of my three PODs in March 2025 and placed everything in storage. The third 16’ PODs held my immediate household belongings, so I keep the container in storage with PODS. I wanted to accept that container at my rental property. I did not find permanent housing until November 2025, so my POD was being stored at the PODS facilities for nine (9) months. Everything arrived well. Pay attention to who packs it and how it is secured inside. Take your time to double box fragile stuff. It is time well spent.
