My husband has a PNC account because his property investor customer has a PNC account so my husband is paid with PNC checks. This is the second location he has taken a PNC check to cash and deposit as cash into his PNC account so he can buy materials right away. They refuse. So he is cashing and taking cash to chase. You could be keeping $7k in PNC, but from now on all checks will have to be cashed and taken to a different bank because you don't allow a cash then deposit?? There's no longer any reason to keep a PNC account.
