I would not recommend PNC based on my experience. The level of professionalism and customer service we received was very disappointing. A payroll deposit was misdirected, and the explanation we were given was confusing and inconsistent. We were told it was related to another account having the same account number, which raised more questions than answers. I hate PNC and leaving after this disaster of the first bank merge
Took over 1st Bank and made everthing good about 1st Bank go away. DO NOT USE THIS BANK PNC Bank engages in deceptive account bundling via its Virtual Wallet product. While advertising that consumers can 'opt out' of overdraft coverage, PNC's internal infrastructure automatically links the checking (Spend) account to long-term college and personal savings (Growth and Reserve) accounts.
