Don’t even think about open a bank account here the told me they are going to hold my deposit check for 8 days for no reason and then they say they’re is nothing they can do about it they basically stealing my money don’t trust this bank

Found out that PNC purchased 1st Bank and was disappointed because 1st Bank has always been inviting, friendly and eager to assist. Decided to pop in when I needed to make change for larger bills and just see how it was before making a decision to stay on once the acquisition is complete. Yesterday 7/9/25 I had the worst experience at this job. I set down with Branch manager Lauren Cooperman to set up an account and she really showed me that prejudice and racial profiling still exist. I came in there with my 401 k check to cash as I’ve done before with no problem but this time I came in to start an account and cash my check.
