I'm changing my review from when they screwed me over on my first deposit to what happened today. I was installing an app for security cameras and it asked for my bank info to check if I am a real person. Long story short I got scammed. I saw they took $34.55 out of my bank (what I signed up for was supposed to of been free) now for a subscription to a sports app. I called PNC and asked for customer service. I open an account. Just need checking. They automatically create THREE accounts. Spend save plan or something like that. I could not access the account online in order to set it up! Closed sll three accounts which took a half hour on the phone. Now they send me three separate monthly statements. Three separate closure notifications. PNC bank is LAME! we could have done business together if they'd get their head out
Rude passive aggressive employees.
I opened a bank account at PNC. My direct deposit didn't go through fast enough, so I got a live check. The bank held it, they said, because it was a new account. Then I get a letter in the mail saying they are holding it for 5 days because they think it looks fraudulent. It is from the factory I work at. It says it could be held up to 10 days from last friday. Meanwhile, I have zero money. I am going in tomorrow, and I think I will close my account and go to Chase. I need my money now! Hey heads up this drive through isn’t a real drive through like there’s no tubes. Make sure you bring a pen because the virtual guy in Michigan isn’t going to have the ability to send you one. Also no slips, they can’t stamp the check for deposit only, etc. As previous teller myself, I really can’t imagine how anyone could properly service anyone using this manner.
