Not recommended. In December, my account was frozen by PNC. Naturally, as anyone would be, I was concerned and went to the branch to find out why my balance had been wiped to zero and what could be done. Turns out, nothing. I was promised a call back or an attempt to expedite the release of my funds. I never got a call back. Only a letter in the mail of account closure. It took the full 30 days for them to “investigate”. No communication whatsoever. I’m glad to be away from them for good.
Worst bank I’ve ever had contact with. They’ll lock your account, take every cent out of it and then tell you lies. I was promised a call back about the situation within the day. It’s been over a week. Nothing EXCEPT FOR SPAM VOICEMAILS. They can’t call you about something as huge as holding over 1000 dollars that doesn’t belong to them, yet they can call you two days in a row about “promotions” How bout the promotion where you give me my money back and I close my account??
