I called this bank 6 days ago to try and set up an appointment with a banker to open a money market account (I had a large chunk of money I wanted to invest from the recent sale of my home), I first spoke to a rather clueless teller on the phone who told me she was not sure if I had to have a checking account with them first, in order to open a money market account (is this not standard bank policy knowledge!?) ... **☆☆☆☆ (1/5)** Worst banking experience ever I had a very disappointing experience with this PNC branch. I deposited a legitimate paycheck using the mobile app, but it was incorrectly flagged as fraudulent. Instead of helping me resolve the issue, my account was closed, and I was eventually told to find another bank. I also deposited some money , but it didn't appear in my account, and I was left waiting for a call about when I would get my money back. Great experience at PNC bank in Bethany. Gave a welcome feeling to this new resident. Helpful, knowledgeable, and kind; much more than I've come to expect from banking institutions.
