I would not recommend this bank to my worst enemy. Over \$500 was taken from my acct by a co. I had never heard of. Could not even trace. Reported to fraud division. OD chgs. of over \$200 was charged to my account. Mailed report in and was told never received. Told by representative to go to local branch and speak with MGR. He would help me fill out another form and send by inter mail. I met with branch MGR and was told in no uncertain terms, sorry you are too late, just pay your dues. I was with PNC for over 10 before I recently tried to close my accounts due to lack of satisfactory customer service. Things seem fine when when you dont have a question or a problem, but get ready for disappointment when you have an issue. The final straw was when my account was compromised over Christmas. Slow as hell in the drive thru when they have to go get money out of the back.Waiting ten minutes in line in the drive thru while other cars go around you to get service is okay because they had to go get money. NOT!

Jamie, at this branch, was exceptionally helpful with some very difficult issues I was facing. I would highly recommend this bank if all of the employees put the personal effort into assisting their clients that Jamie did!

I have never experienced such careless errors than I have with this bank. From posting errors, account information errors, auto-withdrawl errors...90% happening at this branch location.The customer service at this location is rather poor as well. I am also not alone in stating that the posting rules seem to change from week to week.It is time to change to a different bank. I am not surprised they are being bought out by PNC Bank
You can get a great interest rate on a loan. The National City website is a great service to customers. You can access your account and make changes and tranfers very easily. The only issue I have is, the employees at the main bank on Carter Ave are slow as Christmas. God help you if you come in close to lunch time.
What a terrible bank! When Mercantile was in charge, the bank was alot more personable and would call you if there was an issue. This bank took 200 dollars in late fees from my wifes account who is on disability in late fees even after I had transferred money from my account to cover it! After 20 years Ill be going to a different bank. Do yourself a favor. Find a bank that cares about their customers. Not a giant conglomerate that could care less.
