Customer service here from Elizabeth was horrible. Went in on 06/29/26 to deposit a business check for $3020.00. I was informed of a 24 hour hold will placed on the check. Funds appeared to be in my account after midnight. Next day exactly 24 hours after visiting the branch. I returned to withdraw some funds. However, Now she says that it will be a 7 day hold on the check for a dumb reason. I sat in the branch for 30 minutes, just to be told that there’s nothing she could do on the phone with Corporate. Not a good branch no system at all.
Idk if I hate PNC for its awful banking and payment scheduling system that just stole $500 from me, or if I hate myself for putting up with their BS for so long
The tellers are great here and very helpful.
