I had a very disappointing experience with PNC Bank. I maintained thousands of dollars in my accounts, but after experiencing ongoing online and mobile banking access issues, I was still charged repeated monthly service fees. Despite multiple attempts to get help, the issue was never properly resolved. Since zero stars isn't an option.....
Worked with Shaniqua Ricks attempting to set up a bank account in the name of our trust to receive a wire transfer. Due to PNC corporate policies we were not successful in time to facilitate the wire but Shaniqua went above and beyond in an effort to establish the account for us. Great follow up and excellent communication skills. 30 Year PNC customer.
I was calling to schedule an appt as I was referred from another branch. I spoke to the person I was calling to schedule with and she quickly put me on a 10 minute hold. I called back to see if she was OK and was told she was looking up information. A few minutes latr another employee called me back to relate they are understaffed and she doesn't have any appts for two weeks. I wasted 45 minutes to hear about their staffing issues. VERY disappointing. At a time when they should be the most supportive (a death in the family), they have been extraordinarily incompetent and rude. They made things that should have been simple a huge hassle. My grandmother passed away over a month ago, and we continue to deal with their lack of knowledge and care. If you can change banks, a word of advice: run while you still can. NCSECU, meanwhile, has been extremely kind, helpful, AND provide excellent service!
