I’ve been depositing cash into my 82-year-old father’s PNC account for years so he can pay his mortgage. Today, at the Medina branch, the teller suddenly demanded my ID to make a cash deposit. I understand banks have AML policies, but PNC has never asked me for ID for a straight cash deposit before. I was in back on March 8th. I totally meant to write this sooner. I came in on a Saturday without thinking to make an appointment. I needed something notarized.
