Terrible customer service. We needed to do a wire transfer and they didn’t have a banker. A bank with no banker. What next. Told us to go to another branch. Yeah.
I would give negative stars if I could. Worst customer service. The branch manager and his staff are incompetent. I have (had) six accounts with them and get monthly calls begging to invest with them. Unfortunately this branch makes the PNC look really bad. Such a shame the a few poor examples of "customer service" ruin a reputation for the entire company.
Mitch was extremely professional. I had some issues with an account I started online. He sorted out everything very quickly and efficiently.
I got my scholarship checks from YSU and they bank through PNC. I did not have a bank account so I needed to cash the check. They told me they needed 2 forms of identification, they said ID and Social Security card were not forms of identification. They said I could only give them a vehicle registration with my name on it, or a utility bill with my name on it, or something along those lines. Their employees were also very rude about it.
