Came in to open a child savings account for my son. We were told it was going to be a 10 minute wait. Over an hour later we still had not been helped and my One year old son began melting down as it is difficult to keep a child entertained that long in a bank. We ended up leaving without being helped. If they would have been more transparent about timing we could have came back later that day or made an appointment for another day. Bonnie, the Assistant Branch Manager, worked with me over the phone after I had concerns about a question on my account. She did a fantastic job with customer service and maintained excellent composure in investigating what was happening with my account. After taking my information to call me back to investigate my account issue further, Bonnie called back quicker than I expected and was able to provide a full update over the issue and resolved the questions I had had. Poor customer service, communication, and relationship ownership for a bank.
I have always been impressed with this branch over the past 3 years. Staff- kind, personable, genuine. I’ve never experienced a wait beyond 5 minutes (lobby). Tellers have a VERY hard job. Staffing is out of their control (corporate). I’ve been in retail customer service management for years, they do quite well.
Went in here just to have a new debit card printed out but they made me sit and wait for over 40 mins so that their manager could finish typing up his emails to finally print me a card. Then of course he had to spend an extra 10 mins trying to sell me their credit card.
