Walked in to close an account I have with my ex-spouse. To avoid any legal repercussions and as a part of the settlement we agreed upon, I had to close the account we shared. I was shutdown upon walking in that the location was short staffed and to try and schedule a time (my lunch breaks change daily) or find a other branch. I went to another branch 20 minutes away and they couldn't close my account because I had a pending transaction.
