The worst branch manager ever. I had a PNC check from my retirement. They inform me a 3% fee for non account holders. After waiting 15 minutes they tell me they could not verify their own company check and would not cash it? I went to Asland and the Carter Ave branch was nice and super friendly. They cashed it and i was out in 5 minutes. Its truly a shame for PNC to have such a negative branch.
DON'T LET YOUR COLLEGE STUDENT SET UP AN ACCOUNT HERE! My experience with PNC in college was horrible. When I first opened an account, I asked the representative to talk with me about how to avoid possible charges. The information I was given was incorrect, and has resulted in me being charged over $75 in the last 6 months WITH A STUDENT ACCOUNT. The only positive things about this bank is excellent customer service. I'm opening a student Chase account, and I recommend you do too.
