Just got done with a 30 min cupping session for low back/hip pain. This was my first time ever going to an acupuncturist and it was a good experience. Session involved gentle massage and what felt like vacuum cups, which was pretty relaxing. Clinic is close to bus and light rail.
I recommend her treatment and practice to anyone seeking acupuncture. She is amazing, a complete professional, and I have responded incredibly well to her treatment. My pain and discomfort have subsided significantly since utilizing her practice.
Each time I worked with Mia, she truly listened and focused on addressing my needs. Together, we used acupuncture to destress and find peace in my body. When I left, I felt a sense of calm and grounding—exactly what I needed. Mia is a gentle and kind being, and her space on 21st Street is absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a peaceful and restorative experience.
Every time I leave Mia's treatment room, I feel like I'm walking on clouds. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the human body, but so kind and intuitive. I was gifted a session with Mia. I asked for help with grounding and focusing and calming the nervous system. During the session I experienced a deep holding around my spinal chord. Afterward I came home and felt focused, energized and was able to balance work with self-care. It was liberating to feel the brain fog lift. Also, Mia's space is beautifully curated. Her presence is calming and I felt that she cares deeply for her clients. This was one of the best therapies I have received and am so grateful for the experience.
