Terrible experience. Me and my brother had just gotten off work, and since his direct deposit didn’t go through yet, he received a paper check. He went into PLS by himself to cash it while me and my sister waited in the car. We were out there for almost 30 minutes — which was weird, because it usually only takes 5–10 minutes. When he finally came back, he told us that they took his check and claimed he owed them money — but they gave no explanation, no warning, no mail, no notice of any kind beforehand. I came into this location this evening to cash my check, I handed the women my check and explained to her that I was going to mobile Deposit my check on my bank account so the check was signed, but didn’t want to wait the 5 business, after she took my ID and I resigned my check, she walked away and did what she had to do, after waiting a several moments a gentlemen walked and had did the same exact thing and was being attended by the cashier next to us, the women who had my check said it couldn’t be cashed cause their system... read more
