I have purchased many items from Ploughman’s the quality is beautiful. I have also had repairs and custom work done here for my Hunt club. The craftsmanship is amazing. She also does repairs on hunt whips and they came back quickly and looked fabulous. Can’t say enough good about this business! Would highly recommend using her.
Penny made a tiny leather collar for an antique cast iron fox terrier doorstop which has been in my family forever. The original collar had broken years ago, but I gave Penny the pieces of the old collar and she was able to refurbish the original buckle and D ring and reuse them. It was perfect and she was a delight to work with!

Penny fixed the zippers on my Dressage boots and added a strip of elastic. They fit like customs and the work is beautiful! She is a joy to work with and takes great pride in her work. I am thrilled with the job and meeting Penny!
Penny restored my old college saddle a few years ago & did an amazing job. I recently purchased an old Stubben for $25 at an auction, so you can imagine it's condition. I brought it to Penny, without getting my hopes up too high. She replaced the foam in the knee rolls, cleaned & conditioned the leather, refurbished the suede & hand stitched the buckle guards. The saddle is beautiful. The result far exceeded my expectations. When I dropped it off I didn't realize the suede was a light color. Penny is amazing at her craft....... read more
