I have a friend recently admitted to Pleasant Manor. The bedside table drawer next to his bed was not emptied out from the previous room resident. There was a denture case, gum, candy etc in the drawer. None of that belonged to my friend. He has all his teeth and cannot eat or chew whole foods.
Soon as Monarch took over this place has definitely gone down hill. The communication between all the staff is completely terrible. Gave my mom insulin without checking her blood. How do I know? Because I was there the entire time and NO ONE came in to check it. Waiting 20-40mins after pushing the call button to go to the bathroom. NO diabetic meals, not even a diet pop. I also used to work at PM it NEVER used to be like this if you have to send your love one there please keep an eye on them.
Pleasant Manor is a very nice facility and I would recommend placing a loved one here. The staff are very kind and take pride in the care they provide to their residents.
Staff are so kind, residents were busy in an activity when I first walked in the building, great common areas and the rooms are spacious!
