I am only giving this one star so I can write the review. This place does not care about your loved ones the workers only care about their paychecks. They do not watch the patients. They let them fall out of bed and lay on the floor, they do not help feed them like they should when they are not able to feed themselves. There is never a nurse aid around when your loved one needs help. When you have a question they say ask the social worker but there is never a social worker around.
Great staff , from what I always have heard they really do care about their residents.
Hiba and Doris went above and beyond to help me there.And there's a few other nurses that know who they are.
My Grandma was at this facility and they took great care of her !! From the welcoming Admissions tour days before she even got there to nurses and STNAs to the therapy staff they definitely took great care of her and helped her to get back home to us!! Definitely would recommend Pleasant Lake Villa!!
The nursing staff is exceptional especially on the sandlewood side. A long with the physical therapy department. The nurses that took care of my leg wound were great. The kitchen needs a lot of work. Everything seemed like it was pre cooked and all they did was warm it up. Example: the waffles looked like they were thawed and thrown on the plate, eggs reminded me of the powdered eggs I had in the Army.
