Out of 5 places Pleasant Hill Jewelry was highest – I don't know what the above is all about. They have CC County weights and measures certified scales, and they weigh your gold right in front of you. Not like the other shops I went to: they took my gold into a back room to weigh it! Shady! When I went to Pleasant Hill Coin and Jewelry, I had to wait in line it was so busy, but that is a good thing. The man in front of me said he had been going there for years. Warning.... – This is my first time going and won't be back. The place was very busy which is good, the employees seemed professional, but the service and prices were not. I had two rings appraised by two well known companies in the Los Gatos/Saratoga areas and they both came up with almost the same amount of value. I've been shopping around to see what the best price I could get for them so I tried this place( I bowl in this area). They weighed the rings (total with stones) and came up almost 5 grams short of what the other... read more

Pleasant Hill Coin & Jewelry is average I actually found a pair of diamond stud earrings here that were such a good deal. The staff is a bit quiet and not overly friendly, but I was on a mission and did not care.

Decent place to go... I used to go here every so often when I needed supplies for my coin collecting. They weren't always the most outgoing of employees, but had what I needed. Now, I just get it on the internet, as this place wasn't that inviting, and seemed to me to focus more on pawning jewelry and such more so than a coin collecting shop.
