My husband has been telling me for years to come shop here. I finally broke down and went in yesterday. I’m pretty insecure from all the weight I’ve gained due to heath issues. Let me tell you, Anthony is nothing short of amazing! He recorded me walking, pointed out tendencies I have with gait and such, took measurements and picked out shoes. Amazing online shopping experience! I knew the shoe I needed and wanted because of previous skilled fittings with playmaker associates. I was able to find that shoe on their website, in stock, in my giant women’s size 12. I was so excited to see that they offered free shipping over $60 that I went and added a pair of socks to my order. I might have caught the timing just right, but they had my order prepped and ready for mailing in less than an hour. Nicole was fantastic! She went through my gait, my needs, and as we kept talking was so enthusiastic in explaining the details of what each shoe could do for me. I never felt rushed and it was a fantastic experience. I have shoes on my mind to come back for in the spring/summer, and felt so safe with the way the store was spaced out for COVID. Great work!!
I was skeptical about shopping for shoes online, but when I found out Playmakers had an online store I had to give it a shot. (Full disclosure: I worked for a happy decade at Playmakers back in the ‘80’s-‘90’s.) I love that I was able to shop small. Customer service is amazing. I had purchased a pair of shoes online. The next morning I received an email that my purchase could not be completed as the online inventory and physical inventory was not the same. I was immediately reimbursed my money. I appreciate the fast and honest communication. I just decided to purchase a different pair. Love my new shoes and the new shop I will shop with from now on.

Support your small, local business! They are amazing! Bought some running shoes back in Spring when the store was closed due to Covid. One of the workers FaceTime me, showed me all the shoes, went over pricing, and what would work best for me. They beat any competitors price by far. Bought another pair of running shoes on small business Saturday. My mom and I went in yesterday in search of snow boots that fit over my 4 year old daughter’s wide AFO brace. She has to have two different sizes, and it’s very hard to find a boot that will go over the brace. Wolfe helped us and was so patient with my daughter. She had major brain surgery last September and her right leg/foot was affected. When it was determined that she would need two different sized Bog boots, Wolfe talked to the manager and she gave us a discount on the second pair.
