RecommendedI am in this store often and have always found the staff friendly and helpful. My son is a four sport athlete so I am always looking for something he needs. Store is clean and very well stocked.
I have had nothing but a positive experience every time I am at the store. The staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to help me find the right product I am looking for. Everyone is very friendly and helpful!
Guess they don't care much about making a sale to a new customer! Sent them a message this morning about an item they have (had?) in stock, indicating a desire to purchase asap, and they never answered my request! Certainly won't bother asking my housemate to drive all the way to Waltham for something if I can't even get the courtesy of a response. They just LOST a customer to Ebay!!
I've had repeated sub par experiences at this location. The Dedham store is so much better. So far, this location has turned away pretty much all of the perfectly good used gear I have brought in (which was later accepted by Dedham) and they are generally not that helpful at all. I am never greeted when entering the store and the owner almost seems annoyed when asked for assistance. I love this place. The staff is friendly and just helpful enough; they're not all over you while you're browsing, but they're right there when you need help. There is a great mix of new and used gear, and the prices are lower than you'll find at other sports equipment stores (and MUCH lower if you opt for used stuff). And they know how to sharpen skates well, which is how I discoverrd the store originally.
