Let’s start by saying how much I hate shopping but how much I love shoes. I walked into Platypus Echuca because the staff looked friendly and it was quiet. Charlie (I will assume he/him pronouns) was amazing to be served by. He was super friendly, asked what I’d help with, listened to my ramblings and awkwardness, did not judge my wide, fat feet and instantly found options for me. Went ot store today. Rudest staff I have ever experienced, just because she had to process the refund because of the error in pricing from their own staff. Really disappointed, haven't had that sort of experience in any other platypus store.
terrible service. the girls just stand behind the counter n ignore u or r busy chit chatting with other customers. they never have a range of sizing or the shoes that are on special. if ur in a hurry n ready to drop $150 on shoes dont bother.

I rated this shop poorly about a year ago, as we didn't receive any service at all. I didn't even want to go in today but one of my kids was insistent. So we did. And what a different experience! The staff were not only helpful and attentive but extremely knowledgeable. A particular shout-out for Ada, who handled my 9-year old skilfully, helped him select the right shoes, sized them perfectly, and taught him a trick to tie them up more tightly and comfortably.
