I recently had an amazing experience with a salesperson in the Platypus Belconnen store. My husband is very hard of hearing and experiencing some cognitive degeneration but had decided he only wants to buy shoes from this store. The salesperson, who's name I think was Tania, was so patient and understanding with him. They took extra care to check the fit of the shoes realising that he may not be able to judge this himself. On the 6th of January 2025 at around 4-4:30 pm, I went into the Platypus Belconnen with the main intent of inquiring whether or not they were hiring. My typical experience with these kind of interactions are usually very optimistic, enthusiastic, and/or sympathetic (if not hiring). And at the very least most stores would accept a resume for safekeeping.
