I visited the Platypus store at Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre around 10:45 AM recently, and I was really impressed with the customer service. The girl working there was extremely nice and professional. Even though there was a big rush, she managed everything very well. no one felt like they were waiting too long because she handled it efficiently. I’ve been a loyal Platypus customer for many years! Never again! Waited outside for 10 minutes before opening. When the staff member finally opened the door, there was no greeting, just filthy looks as if we were totally inconveniencing her. We walked in and got completely ignored. A man came in after us and she served him instead. She could clearly see I wasn’t happy. Asked if we were wanting to buy shoes.. seriously? We’re in a shoe shop aren’t we?!
