The whole day I went shopping for one reason, to get a new pair of shoes not just "black" shoes i wanted a pair that i could wear out. All of the big stores JD and footlocker were no help, but Platypus was different. I walked in there and not even in the first 10 seconds this kind man walked up to me asking me if i needed help and for once i actually did. Amazing service at Platypus Shoes! Troy was absolutely fantastic, super friendly, patient, and genuinely cared about helping customers. He made the whole experience easy and enjoyable, went above and beyond to help, and created such a welcoming vibe in the store. This is exactly the kind of customer service that makes you want to come back. Huge credit to Troy.
Tall gentleman with the black shaggy hair gave the worst customer service anyone could ever experience. He was swearing, having a chat on the phone, playing Satan worship music too loud, I couldn’t hear myself think. I asked for a pair of doc Martin’s and he proceeded to say there wasn’t a certain size when the size shoe was literally on the wall and could just tell he couldn’t be bothered to look.
