I hate this place. Everytime I try to sell with them they take my most expensive items and wanna give me 5 dollars for them. All of my clothes were in great condition and what they were asking for. Some brand new with tags. I’ve never had good experiences here. I’ve tried to give it multiple chances and everytime I go I regret it every single time. Dont waist your time going here. I love Plato’s Closet, but unfortunately they don’t take Altabank cards. It was a pretty embarrassing experience to be turned away and have my form of payment not be accepted. I verified again a year later if they still don’t take any Altabank cards and they still don’t.
place is very clean and great selection to choose from! lots of name brand clothes to choose from.
This is a good place to shop. It is clean, no weird smells, a good location, and well stocked. No obnoxious music either. The clothes are fair priced and modern. For a local thrift shop it's one of the best in town. My only complaint is selling to them. I brought in 4 items and they offered me below fair market price for them. Far below even a third of what they would resell for. Not ok at all. I ended up reselling them privately. So I won't consign anything there. But I will shop there and am pleased with that. Really wanted to like this location and enjoy my shopping trip but I was SO put off by one of the employees behind the desk. She went on a 20 minute tirade tonight about this “weird fish lady in her 50’s who is obsessed with her” who apparently buys new fish every time she’s in town and stops in to talk to this girl. This girl was so loud and belligerent that I could hear her by the mirror in the BACK of the store.
