They definitely are not being on honest on the amount of items they accepted, I’m definitely missing items. Atleast 4 more of then what they said and paid me for. I’m surprised and glad I paid attention this time.
The place I get the majority of my wardrobe, but it can definitely be a hit or miss with what you find, and the prices used to be more reasonable. Definitely better than the mall or Goodwill. Kadie is an amazing employee though, she definitely cares about her job and people. Whatever she’s making, it’s not enough. She makes Plato’s Closet much better!
I usually love going to Plato’s closet and have fairly good experiences, but I have been trying to sell clothes here for the last couple of weeks (I’m a teacher and I have a full schedule during the week) and when I walk through the door I’m told they can’t take the clothes because their system is down or because of staffing which I totally get and I’m not upset about that I just which that there could be a store update about these things instead of me getting all the way there (I live an hour away) to be turned away, I have... read more
This store is run very poorly. The staff has no customer service etiquette. If you ask to speak with the manager you’re already judged, and the manager has no communication skills. While the clothes are great, the people who work there are very unkind. The manager is an older woman who uses foul language in front of children and is all around extremely unprofessional. Overall I will never be going to this store again and will not recommend this store to anyone.
