Caveat emptor (warning to the wise): My experience with National Plastic Specialties in Naples was exceedingly disappointing. The workmanship was substandard and unprofessional. I contracted for a 2’ x 4’ acrylic table top, submitting a model with instructions that NPS produce an exact copy, a simple enough request. The product I received upon pick-up was unacceptable. Owner is rude and treats his employees bad always thinks he's right even when he's clearly wrong horrible service I'm changing my review since the have a new owner hopefully the new owners treat their employees good

A replacement windscreen for my Key West 1720 cost just under $500. Plastic Specialties did it for $350, and they increased the thickness from 1/4" to 3/8" and made it 4" taller! And, even better, they got it done in a matter of days! Thanks, Amber and Tomas!

My experience differs from the others, as the experience was a good one. In the year we live in where few people have specialty skills, such as this one, I believe we should not expect and feel entitled to the highest class of customer service and quick delivery that other corporate stores lead you to believe you deserve. Go back 20 years and you would be grateful if you ordered a part that was in stock on someone's shelf in a warehouse and it was at your front door a week to two later; while today we expect items to be deli... read more
