You know if you advertise you are open until a certain time you shouldn't be closed 5 minutes till! All I need to do is cash a check and both sides already had their signs pulled closed several minutes before 12! If they need to close at 11:30 so they can get out by 12 then advertise that as your window hours! This isn't the first time it has happened.
