I had a pistol pawned with this place It's a Sig Sauer Nightmare 1911 .45acp When I put it in, it was in perfect condition, when I picked it up and got it home, it has a scratch on the lower right side of the grip I did not notice it until I got home, needless to say, I am pissed!! Yes, it's my fault for not checking it before I left the store, but it never should have come out of the hard case it was in!!!! How do I know this for sure you ask? Ignorant Clueless Service Yeah sure if you need an FFL its probably the better place to go but if you need a loan on something of actual value they are as dumb as door nails. The bad ratings you see here are true, I recently went to this place and yeah shady part of town, its clean.. It doesn't do much as a customer trying to get a loan. Customer for life Flat out the best pawn shop I have been into. Everyone was nice and willing to help. Amazing selection of merchandise. I was referred here by another gun shop in Plano (being from Allen I was not familiar with the area) for an FFL transfer, came in and looked around and was blown away. Breath of fresh air! – I have not needed a pawn shop since college, and the last one I was in, made me feel like I did not want to be there. The people down at Plano Pawn Shop made me feel welcome, joked and laughed with me. Just made me feel at home with the situation. I had an unexpected medical expense and need to some fast cash. Dallas Best Pawn Shop! – I had some gold I wanted to sell. I had mapped out a few places: "cash for gold stores" along 75 Central Expwy (I laughed at them as I walked out), Dallas Gold & Silver Exchange (received a fair offer); & Plano Pawn Shop. Needless to say I sold them my gold! They were honest and showed me their testing of the gold, and then, most importantly, offered almost $100 more that the gold & silver place! A+++
Top of the Business I can honestly say that I have visited every pawn shop within 100 miles of Plano and many more all over the United States and this is one of the nicest ones you will visit for many reasons. They have nice clean merchandise, friendly people working the counters, and the shop is clean and neat with no junk cluttering up the shelves. Plano Pawn Shop...THANK YOU! I had a bunch of gold jewelry that I did not want to sell but I needed money. The people at Plano Pawn Shop explained a loan to me and I was able to get the money I needed and just pay them back the finance charge and keep my jewelry! I was so pleased! They offered more money to me on a loan, than other places offered to buy it out right! Thanks again!
