I had a torn meniscus and had surgery here. 11 weeks out I am worse off after my surgery than before. DO NOT COME HERE. If they recommend surgery, get a second opinion at an independent clinic. Look at the 1 star Yelp reviews. DO NOT COME HERE. I wish I never had the surgery. I can’t say anything else but come at your own risk if they put you under the knife. Good luck! I have warned you.
This used to be the absolute best orthopedic place in town. Dr. Smith operated on my daughters arm and I cannot say enough good, Dr. Crates fixed my Mom's feet before he died and treated my daughter and husband and was wonderful. Dr. Dauber has treated me and my brother, my sister in law and myself and is amazing. But Dr.Grosser replaced Dr. Crates, she was great for my husband's visit and he was going to have both his feet fixed. Used to be the best all around facility in the metroplex. My immediate family has seen Dr. Sutker, had surgery by Dr. Smith, Dr. Crates (RIP), and Dr. Dauber (injections), We have seen Dr. Barber as well. Literally when my daughter was a gymnast at WOGA we referred countless people there. A month ago my husband went to see Dr. Grosser and was set to schedule two surgeries on his feet. First, Dr. Evanson is phenomenal, truly one of the great physicians, esp. for a surgeon. He clearly cares about patients and has high standards for those around him. In my case he did a superb job on double hip labral repair. If you want a superb hip/knee surgeon, then Dr. Evanson is a no-brainer; just be prepared for the problematic turbid communications via staff.
