I came in because of noise from my rear hub, which the mechanic quickly identified as an issue with the bearings. I was quoted $60 for parts & labor to replace the bearings and was told they'd be able to fix within an hour because they had time (great!). I hadn't heard back in a few hours, so I gave them a call, and was told that the bearings turned out to be non-standard but they'd just figured it out, oh, and by the way they racked up $150 in labor (plus parts). Placid planet is the only place I will buy a. Bike from. They are a stand up group of people who stand behind their products. They are second to none. On more than once in a time of need they have even there in a pinch to help keep me riding.

This local business is great. The staff is very knowledgeable, and the options are vast. So grateful to have a “small town store” that can so thoroughly provide to this community. When I had an issue with my bike they were able to help with the warranty and resolve the issue within a week! Amazing customer service.

שכרנו זוג אופניים במקום בסוף ספטמבר 2024. שילמנו 54 דולר (כולל מיסים) ל-4 שעות (השתמשנו רק בשעה וחצי), והמוכר אמר לנו שזה המחיר הכי זול להשכרת אופניים בלייק פלסיד. בברלינגטון רצו 24 דולר על השכרת זוג אופניים ל-4 שעות, כך שמוזר לי מאוד שזה הכי זול...האופניים היו בסדר גמור. המקום קרוב לאגם Miror היפה. אפשר להקיף ברכיבה את האגם מספר פעמים (כל סיבוב כ-2 מייל)
