I purchased a lot of wood over the years there and hadn't been there since they moved. To my surprise you are no longer allowed to choose the wood you want and have to rely on someone to do that for you. At their previous site I was in and out in 20 minutes with the pieces I selected. So if I make fine pieces of something and I don't like what someone else selected what do I do? I went in early Wednesday to get 2 pieces of lumber and I may get it on Monday. I'm done with them. Big bad Richelieu has wrecked it.
Their driver is great, very punctual! Always on time and doesn't destroy my property unlike other drivers. Good prices and wide variety of products but it seems like theyr are still having growing pains after moving in with Richelieu
Hasn't been the same since Richelieu bought them. Customer service is average, and you can't pick your own material, so you need to allow 20-30% more waste for the knotty, twisted pieces they put in your bundle. Warehouse guys were good to deal with, but I think they're operating in a poorly managed organization that wants to squeeze as much profit as possible instead of quality and customer service.
