The most unprofessional people work at this Ann Arbor location. One of their workers thought it was ok to follow me onto my property to berate me to leash my dog, after my Havanese got onto their property. The worst part is when we tried to call to speak to a Manger, they cut us off and told us they’d be in in Monday. Then tried to complain by stating that we entered their facility to cause a ruckus. No one in corporate will even address the disgusto on. They’ve blocked me in Twitter and tried to downplay the situation on go... read more
I am disappointed in the overall level of care that I received. My complaints are not with any particular staff member (Every staff member I did interact with was extremely personable and professional) however there was a huge deficit in overall communication and care for me as a pet owner. I brought my dog to the ER due to extreme respiratory concerns and fever that were occurring overnight after not improving from a visit to his regular vet. I brought him in on a Saturday and was given two options: (1) to have him seen and... read more

I wish I would’ve never brought my dog here. I waited more than 6-weeks for an appointment. I was charged over $300 for the appointment and two RXs. The RX has made my dogs eyes worse then they were. I called them to report the issue. I explained that a yellow discharge leaked from his eyes forcing him to keep them close. Of course I had to report this all in a VOICEMAIL because you can’t talk to a live person. I waited two days for a call back TWO DAYS. I received a call from a admin that said she would have to ask the doct... read more
My dog was ran over with an ATV and had bad wounds we drove an hour for emergency service only for them to take him inside then have to call ourselves due to little & vague updates on what they were doing with my dog. then we find out they haven’t even started wound repairs and it’s been six hours since he was taken inside, they respond with “he’s resting comfortably”. we understand they have other issues but we are very dissatisfied with the “emergency service” action time
The doctor that we dealt with at Blue Pearl in Renton was the most thorough in our dog’s diagnosis and gave us a couple options for treatment. She was so knowledgeable and caring. Sadly, our baby boy had to be put down as he would not survive without being on an IV. It is the most gut wrenching decision to make, but the doctor and staff at Blue Pearl were so kind and caring. They took a lot of time to make sure we understood everything and answered all of our questions. I can’t imagine this sad time being handled any better.... read more
Brought my healthy 14 yr old dog to PVSEC ER @ 7::30am because she threw up 4 times and was shaking in discomfort. Because of Covid, I wasn’t allowed in the building. A tech came out around 8:15 to get my dog and have me sign treatment and CPR forms. About an hour later a tech tells me the vet wants to do a blood panel & ultra sound and needed an upfront payment of $800. I put it on a credit card & waited. FOUR HOURS LATER I’m still in the parking lot so I called to ask about my dog, but was told the tech attending to her wa... read more
I would strongly recommend that Clinic. We had emergency with our cat Emily, who’s otherwise healthy cat. The staff from the very beginning to the discharge was very friendly but super professional. Dr. Kept us informed throughout cats stay in the hospital. So, it’s 5 stars Clinic.
My dog was referred to PVSEC, by my regular vet, for an EMERGENCY. She was referred to PVSEC because she suddenly lost the ability to walk, go to the bathroom and was in extreme pain/agony. Working in the medical field, I know these drastic and sudden changes are emergent and should be dealt with in a timely manner. PVSEC website even states "When you have a pet emergency, seconds count" but that couldn't be farther from the truth. Dr. Sowy did not deem this case "emergent" and would not order an MRI. As a medical profession... read more
