Stopped in recently to see a family member. Staff was very polite and accommodating. Even helped us unload some items from our car!
Pisgah Manor is a great facility to work at. I’ve been here for over 12 years. Great team environment.
Our experience with Pisgah nursing home was satisfactory until my loved one was passing away. She was left in a room with the tv blasting and the nursing staff was unavailable the entire afternoon. The facility was short staffed on a holiday weekend and the on duty RN on her first day in the facility. The financial documentation was 1-2 months in arrear. Hey! Scorched earth review, because I am a member of a group of family members who are busy filing multiple complaints with the state of NC. My loved on died within a month of moving there. The staff never return calls or respond to issues. The food is garbage. Would love to actually speak to someone about any of these issues, but no on returns calls ever. STAY AWAY. There are lovely people who work there, but there's no administrative oversight. Chronically understaffed. Corporate. Gross
A few years ago, my grandfather was in Pisgah Valley Rehab after being run over by a tractor. The staff and rehab team took excellent care of him and were able to help him recover enough to return home to his family. Even though he has since passed away, his wife still speaks highly of the great care that Pisgah Valley provided.
