I really like this little shop, and I like visiting it when I'm in the area. It's got a great mix of high quality yarn, quilt fabric, and apparel fabric, plus a variety of notions and patterns (with many more notions/tools in store than online). Definitely trends towards the 'modern' side of quilting and apparel fabric. I appreciate that the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable but also quite happy to let you take your time browsing - there's a lot to look at!
This is my new go-to quilt shop and Bernina dealer. I found this shop at the New England Quilt Expo and was so impressed with Maggie and her team. I took a Granny block crotchet class and loved it!!! I forget my lovely instructor's name but she was so patient and wonderful. As a teacher, I know how difficult it is to balance have different learning styles and different levels of learning. She did an amazing job helping all of us ( and there were at least 5 of us) amidst our many levels and questions. The studio is beautiful and they also are very accommodating. This is an AMAZING shop with a fantastic selection. Staff was helpful and funny and they also hold workshops. I got exactly what I wanted and the price was reasonable for the quality.
Super toweling and holiday fabric. Very lovely and knowledgeable owners. Going back to buy more fabric!
