the cottages feel like actual homes, not rooms in a building. my mother decorated hers, has her own kitchen, and can invite family over comfortably. that matters.
my grandma has some pretty tough memory care stuff going on, and honestly the team at pineview cottage just gets it. they're so patient with her and they actually listen when we bring up ideas for her care instead of just ignoring us.
i've toured a lot of senior communities for my work, and pineview's approach to care is genuinely different. the staff seems to actually want to be here, not just working a job.
When my mother moved from independent living to assisted living, the staff made the transition much easier than we expected. They moved at her pace, kept us informed, and made sure she felt supported every step of the way.
