For nearly 30 years, I carried the weight of silence, uncertainty, and the relentless burden of injustice. But no more. I now stand with unwavering confidence and an unshakable resolve, knowing that justice must prevail—justice that has been long denied, justice that is rightfully ours. This is not just a plea; it is a demand. Our voices will no longer be suppressed, our pain will no longer be ignored. The truth must be heard, and it is imperative that the world listens.
I was a resident in this facility from August 1995 until July 1997. This facility and the staff who worked there literally saved my life. Instead of the Baptist minister that I am today, I truly believe that had it not been for the Pines I would no doubt be dead or residing in one of the many penitentiaries in America. I was on BSP-E-unit. Thank you Brighton campus. Like I sang at the age of 14 for the healthy masculinity groups first graduation in 1996, I still believe I can fly!!
I just came here to say that I was physically and mentally abused here as a child. They used to put their knees on my chest and neck so I couldn’t breathe. Don’t put your kids here.
Does anyone know if there was a lawsuit filled against the treatment here my bf was here at a young age and he was verbally physically and mentally abused and wants to know if there is something that can be done or anyone willing to come forward
This is a horrible treatment center for the youth.
