Far enough to disconnect from the city, the noise, the lights, and all, but close enough to be able to go on a weekend with a group. Very nice amenities overall, for me the large campfire is enough as I find it soothing to simply audience it. Cellphone reception is good enough to make calls and send/receive text messages, but choppy/inconsistent enough that watching content online is not convenient, which is a huge plus for me.
