I am so pleased to have found Pilgrim Wood as a home for my Dad. It's such a cosy old-style home in a beautiful wooded countryside setting. The staff are warm, friendly and caring, taking my Dad out for plenty of country walks straight from the front doorstep.. He settled in very quickly and our family love our visits there.
Wonderful place, very homely and the staff treat the residents like family. My dad seems really happy and is much more his old self than he has been for several years. People are treated as individuals and not just a tick box.
I could not have wished for a more caring and kindly home for my. wife who had Alzheimer's. It is a lovely old house, a bit shabby but the more homely for that, set in a large garden with beautiful views of the Surrey Hills. Busy though they were, nothing seemed too much trouble for the management and staff.
