Bishopville is home of The Lizard Man Stump. This Piggly Wiggly offers a great parade viewpoint. Inside there were tshirts for sale commemorating the celebration of the legend. I didn't actually buy anything although the liver pudding and some local sausage was tempting. I'm a SC native and these delicacies sing home to me. Just there for the parade and a little disappointed it didn't end with a giant Lizard Man at the end. I did love hearing the signature song blaring from one of the guys in the procession though. A must.
